Terms of Use

By using BetterGrades, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Provide accurate account information, keep access to your email, and use the service where the law permits.

You keep your rights in course material that you upload. You give BetterGrades permission to store, reproduce, transform, and process that material only as needed to provide the service, including generating study tools and maintaining your account.

BetterGrades generates content for your personal study use. It may contain mistakes, omissions, or incorrect emphasis. Review it against your course material. Do not treat it as an official grade, academic record, professional advice, or a replacement for your instructor.

• Do not upload material you do not have permission to use or share.
• Do not use BetterGrades to cheat, impersonate another student, submit generated work as your own where prohibited, or violate your institution’s rules.
• Do not abuse referrals, XP, invitations, friend features, or challenge systems.
• Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

BetterGrades awards the referrer 100 XP and the new student 50 XP after successful onboarding. The app shows the rules for badge progress. XP, badges, and referral rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be corrected or removed after abuse, error, or fraud.

BetterGrades relies on internet connectivity, device capabilities, app stores, hosting providers, storage providers, email services, and AI services. We may change or discontinue features, and outages can occur. App Store and Google Play downloads follow the terms of those platforms.

We may suspend or close an account when needed to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse. You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes associated content as described in the Privacy Policy, except information that must be retained.

BetterGrades is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterGrades disclaims warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where legally permitted. Questions can be sent to support@bettergrades.app.
